LOWER ORDER
Learning Through Play
The Big6 Lower Order programme is designed to introduce young children to cricket in a fun, playful and supportive environment. Sessions are packed with cricket-based movement games, hand-eye coordination activities and simple skill challenges.
Our Focus at This Stage:
Child development first — building confidence, movement skills, teamwork and enjoyment of the game, while introducing the foundations of batting, bowling and fielding through safe and engaging activities.
MIDDLE ORDER
Skill Building & Game Understanding
The Big6 Middle Order programme supports children as they grow in confidence and ability. Sessions combine technical development with real gameplay experience.
What We Cover:
- Technical skill development (batting, bowling & fielding)

- Individual and team challenges
- Net sessions and skill progression
Session Structure:
Each technical session finishes with an adapted, age-appropriate game, giving players the opportunity to put new skills into action right away.
